Monday: Good news for the staffing industry… This is the sixth straight quarter of temporary and contract employment growth since the recovery began. American staffing firms employed an average of 2.8 million temporary and contract workers from May through June. (Staffing Industry Analysts’ Daily News)

Wednesday: While economic uncertainty remains, new JobsOutlook survey shows 83% of employers predict their use of temporary labor to either increase or remain the same. (Personnel Today)
Wednesday: Kelly Services report states that 44 %of American workers describe themselves as “free agents” with the biggest driver being the economy. (ERE.net)
Thursday: A group of California-based temp workers filed a lawsuit against Juniper Networks and PrO Unlimited, claiming to have been improperly classified as exempt from overtime. (Legs & Reg Advisor)
